William C Church

William C. Church, 68, of Everett, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  He was born on June 18, 1953 in Marion, VA; a son of the late Charles William and Nellie G. (Leonard) Church.

He is survived by daughters Bobbie Rush married to Daniel Rush, Jr., Everett, PA and Cathy Jo Rush married to Willy Rush, Everett, PA; sisters Linda Tumblen and Betty Jo Welch; grandchildren William Matthew Rush, Matthew Christopher Rush, Dana Nicole Rush, Amber Marie Rush, Gracie Danielle Rush and Paydan Ramsey.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Billie Ramsey and siblings Sarah Hackney, Madeline Pumphrey, Mary Hutton, Beulah Holmes, Margaret Stoke, Catherine Holmes and Lola Pierce.

Mr. Church was of the Methodist Faith.

He was a member of the Everett American Legion Post No. 08.  William played in the Stillwater Band; he enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Kevin Harvick fan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett with Pastor Julie Rosensteel officiating.

Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
