Stephen Eugene "Chip" Burrik 72 of Hopewell, Pa passed away April 28, 2021 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Latrobe, Pa to the late Stephen and Dolores Burrik. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Sergeant Stephen R. Burrik.

He is survived by his wife, India of 46 years of marriage. A son, Marc Burrik and his wife Lyndsay of Greensburg, Pa and his daughter Rachel Faas and husband Ed and three grandsons, Mason, Logan and Gavin Faas of Charlotte, NC. In addition, he is survived by his sister-in-law Gwen Sheetz and her husband Ken and nephews Rick and Ryan Vincent and niece Laura Karnash. Steve was a pressman by trade. In 1976 he started his own business, Sportsman Specialties Company in Greensburg, Pa; printing and distributing wildlife artwork for the late Ned Smith, Bob Sopchick, Rob Stine and many others. Steve was an avid outdoorsman which allowed him to travel the world hunting and fishing. Most days you could find him at Yellow Creek fly fishing with his best friend, Greg or sharing special moments with his grandsons.

Steve and his family would like to extend a special thank you for the countless hours of dedication to his health: Dr. Hasan Bit-Shawish, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center of Altoona, UPMC Hospice Team and Michelle his home health nurse. We will always be forever grateful for all you have done.
