Stanley Bleacher Obituary

Stanley E. Bleacher, Jr., 66, of Wall Street, Saxton, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. He was born on August 26, 1955 in Lancaster, PA; a son of the late Stanley Bleacher, Sr. and Hazel (Speakman) Bleacher Lentz. 

He is survived by significant other Terry Fessler; son Jason A. Bleacher and fiance Regina Miller and Sarah Hassler married to Cruz Michael Hassler; grandchildren Katlyn Bleacher, Tesla Dodson, Makenna Bleacher, Rylee Hassler and Addison Hassler; great-granddaughter Harlyn Fink; brothers Rodger Bleacher, Frank Bleacher married to Judy; Jim Lentz married to Paula; sisters Theresa Bleacher Ayres and Romain “Oley” Lentz married to Bob.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by son Justin A. Bleacher and brother Scott Bleacher.

Mr. Bleacher was a graduate of Oxford High School Class of 1973.  After graduation he went on to serve in the United States Marine Corp. from 1973-1975 and the United States Army National Guard from 2003-2004.  He worked as a welder for Letterkenny until his recent retirement.

Stanley was a member of the Saxton V.F.W. where he served as a trustee. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being with his friends and family and had a love for riding his Harley Davidson.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
