Sandra L. Moyer

Sandra L. Moyer, 75, of Shed Road, Bedford, PA; passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Select Specialty, Johnstown, PA.  She was born on January 29, 1946 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late George W. and Marie K. (Karns) Greenawalt.

On June 27, 1964 in the Masonic Temple in Everett, she was united in marriage to Junior A. Moyer.  Along with her husband of fifty-six years she is survived by daughter Anita M. Moyer-Smith married to Michael, Alexandria, PA and son Jerry A. Moyer married to Stacey, Bedford, grandchildren Michaela, Jared, Halee, Olivia, Drake, Charlee, Steffi and Duke; and siblings Gary Greenawalt married to Gayle and Tamar Demusz.

Sandra over the years attended the Assembly of God Churches and Everett Church of God.

She was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1963.  She worked at the Deli Bakery’s in IGA and Riverside throughout the years and later drove a school van for the IU8 program.  Sandra was an excellent cake maker and cake decorator.

She enjoyed reading, working sudoku and word puzzles and most of all being with her family and grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Lay speaker Todd Greenawalt officiating.
