Russell I. Clingerman

Russell I. Clingerman, 81, of Hancock, MD; passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020.  He was born on December 23, 1938 in Cumberland, Maryland; a son of the late Ira B. and Nellie M. (Browning) Clingerman. 

He is survived by children Elaine Bosco of Syracuse, NY; Rhonda K. Clingerman of Syracuse, NY; Russell Clingerman, Jr. of Artemas, PA; Kriste Eader married to Jake Eader of Warfordsburg, PA; four grandchildren Michael Eader, Jr., Brandon Eader married to Kelsey, Dalton Eader, Alexandria Bosco; one great grandson Rylan Eader; sisters Ruth Clingerman of San Angelo, TX and Rhonda Woodward of The Woodlands, TX.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ruth Ann Clingerman, brother John Clingerman, and longtime companion, Delores Myers.

Russell drove truck for many years for various trucking companies. He worked for Rayloc Inc. for several years and in early years the Railroad Industry as a telephone lineman in NY. Russell also served in the United States Army as a military policeman and was stationed in Seoul, Korea from 1958-1959.

He formerly attended the Fairview Christ Church in Artemas.

Russell enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Nascar racing and gardening.  

Private Services will be held with burial at Fairview Cemetery, Artemas.
