Robert E. Steele

Robert E. Steele, 85, of Price Hill Road, Hopewell, PA; passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Pennknoll Village, Everett.  He was born on September 8, 1936 in Hopewell, PA; a son of the late Orville and Joanna (Snyder) Steele.  On May 19, 1956 in Raven Run Church of the Brethren, he was united in marriage to Betty L. Steele.  She preceded him in death on August 2, 2021.

He is survived by two children Brenda Plummer married to Steve, Hagerstown, MD and Brad Steele married to Debbie, Hopewell; grandchildren Jennifer, Emily, Stephanie, Kyle, Stacie and Katie; great grandchildren Elli, Livie, Bryer, Grayson, Liam, Aiden, Ava and Josie.

He was preceded in death by siblings Harry Steele, Fred Steele, Doris Steele, Cora Mae Ferry, Evelyn Sollenberger, Elizabeth Kagarise, and infant sister Rosalyn Steele.

He was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren.  Mr. Steele was a lifetime dairy farmer; he also drove school bus for over forty years for the Northern Bedford School District.

Bob was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School Class of 1954.

Friends and Family will be received on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held at the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Coffman officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery, Hopewell.
