Richard G. Snyder, Sr.

Richard G. Snyder, Sr., 84, of Churchview Road, New Enterprise, PA; passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at home.  He was born on December 12, 1937 in Hopewell, PA; a son of the late William and Bertha (Hughes) Sndyer.  On November 5, 1956 in Loysburg he married Glee Y. (Wright) Snyder.  She preceded him in death on October 15, 2006.

He is survived by children: Richard Snyder, Jr. Everett, Robin Beegle, New Enterprise; Lisa Hedge, Six Mile Run; Ronnie Snyder, New Enterprise; Lonnie Snyder, Bedford; Lynea Hall Notestine, New Enterprise; nineteen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sisters Helen Barton, Hopewell; Donna Sparks, Thompsontown, PA; and Kay Dodson, Hopewell.

He was preceded in death by daughter Debbie Snyder; grandson Ryan Snyder, great granddaughter Emma Hall and siblings Beatrice Thomas, Bill Snyder, Earnest Snyder and John Snyder.

He was employed at Rockland Manufacturing and JLG Industries over the years.  He really enjoyed being outside mowing his lawn.  He was Pap to all that knew him and was loved by all.  He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Rest in peace dad, you are now with mom.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Six Mile Run Volunteer Fire Hall.
