Paul K. Schmidt, Jr., 73, of Clearville, PA; passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland; a son of the late Paul K. Schmidt, Sr. and Mary (Rinehart) Schmidt. On December 13, 1986 he was united in marriage to Rebecca (Brown) Schmidt.

Along with his wife he is survived by children Robert Schmidt and wife Aliza Clark, Michelle Brown and Brandon Schmidt; grandchildren Andrew Clark, Alex Anderson, Micheal Schmidt, Jason Schmidt, Alden Clark, Alex Clark and Paige Pepple; four great-grandchildren and siblings Lori Garber and Allan Schmidt.

Paul served in the United States Navy from 1965-1968. He spent most of his working years as a truck driver, driving for J.B Hunt, Hoffman Transport, and Schmidt Transport, among others. Having grown up on a horse farm, Paul had a love for horses. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, playing pool, trucking and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
