Mary L. (Deremer) Riddle

Mary L. (Deremer) Riddle, 74, of Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Pennknoll Village, Everett.  She was born on February 22, 1947 in Breezewood, PA; a daughter of the late C. Melvin “Mike” and Mabel Olive (Brantner) Deremer. 

She is survived by two sons Donald L. Tew, Everett and Gary W. Tew, Bedford; siblings C. Melvin Deremer, Jr. married to Sara, Breezewood; Olive R. Calhoun, Schellsburg; Thomas E. Deremer married to Melinda, Wells Tannery and Linda L. Ennis, Breezewood; grandchildren Christopher Sherrill, Jaimi DeVitto, Devin Tew, Katlyn Tew-Smith and Kody Tew; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter Bonnie Kay Sherrill and brothers Carl E., John H., James F. and Andrew H. Deremer.

Mary was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1965.  She worked at various restaurants in the Breezewood area, Family House, Post House and Howard Johnsons.

She was of the Protestant Faith and past member of the Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed playing the lottery and watching, caring for and feeding hummingbirds.

A Service will be held at a later date for friends and family, with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
