Helen (Dick) Batol

Helen (Dick) Batol, 86, of Detwiler Lane, Martinsburg, PA; passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  She was born on April 18, 1933 in Wood, PA; a daughter of the late Alex and Eva (Preslipski) Dick.

She is survived by a brother George Dick married to Syndey, Saxton, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by siblings Peter, Paul, Eva, Harry, John, Nicholas, Joseph, Michael, Charles, Mary and Annie.

Helen was a graduate of Robertsdale High School Class of 1951 and a member of St. Michaels Orthodox Church.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 with Father Thomas Klein officiating.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Helen to the St. Michael’s Orthodox Church.

Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Orthodox Cemetery.
