Gloria A. (Adolphson) Burrington, 78, of Hickory Hill Road, Coalmont, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 22, 2021 at home. She was born on November 11, 1942 in Coalmont, PA; daughter of the late Earl “Pete” and Alene (Clark) Adolphson. She was united in marriage to Robert R. Burrington. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2010.

She is survived by two children Kimberly married to Larry Wiedemann, Enfield, CT

and Timothy Strobel, Everett; brother’s George Adolphson and Neal Adolphson.

She was preceded in death by siblings Ellis Adolphson and infant twins, Ray and Faye.

She was employed at Hamilton Standard in Connecticut and also the Department of Education in New Hampshire.

She and her husband moved from their Connecticut home and retired to Coalmont in 2004.

Gloria attended Coalmont United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and had a love for animals.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Broad Top I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
