Glenda M. Hott, 74, of West Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on November 1, 1945 in Artemas, PA; a daughter of the late Leo and Vada (Clingerman) Conrad. On December 9, 1963 she was united in marriage to John C. Hott.
Along with her husband she is survived by children Keith A. Hott married to Linda (Crawford), Breezewood, PA; Craig A. Hott married to Brenda (Smith), New Paris, PA and Christine L. Cogan married to Clifford, Everett, PA; grandchildren Kurtis Hott, Megan Mobley, Zoe Gardner, GemmaJane Woolnough, Perry Hott, Mariah Cogan and Haley Cogan; great-grandchildren Kayden, Logan, Lilly, Cody, Dekin, Evan, Liam, Zeillianna, Andreas, Chante, Leighlah, Vannessa; siblings Deloris Ray married to Ambrose, Hancock, MD; Naomi Smith, Breezewood, PA; Ronney Conrad married to Judy, Greencastle, PA; Roy Conrad married to Connie, Artemas, PA and Wayne Conrad, Artemas, PA.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by infant children Jerry D. and Kathy Ann and a sister-in-law Ginger Conrad brother-in-law Wade Sigel.
Glenda was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1963. She was employed in the Bakery at The Everett Foodliner where she was a cake decorator until her retirement in 2002.
She was a faithful member of the Community Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed taking cruises, vacationing, gardening and especially being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeff Peeler officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Community Grace Brethren Church, 1216 Raystown Rd, Everett, PA 15537, from 4-8 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
