Gerlinde Barnes Obituary

Gerlinde R. Barnes, 72, of Ashcom Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1948 in Germany a daughter of Regina (Butz) Reindl and the late Alfred Reindl. On May 10, 1971 in Germany she was united in marriage to Rodger Edgar Barnes.

Along with her mother and husband of forty-nine years she is survived by two children Alexander A. Barnes married to Leeann, Bedford and Tammy D. Mills married to Neil, Bedford, PA; siblings Evelyn Reindl and Alfred Reindl; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was of the Holy Roman Catholic Faith.

Gerlinde worked at Hedstrom Manufacturing for a number of years until the plants closing.

A private memorial service will be held with burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gerlinde to the St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
