Dorothy Jean (Rinard) Russell

Dorothy Jean Russell, 87, of Ebensburg formerly of Saxton, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Cambria Care, Ebensburg.  She was born on March 10, 1932 in Saxton, PA; a daughter of the late Elmira Jean (Wyles) and Virgil Doyle Rinard.  She was the wife of Thomas E. Russell for over sixty years.  He preceded her in death on October 10, 2016. 

She is survived by children Terrina Jean married to Dean L. Cook, Donald Lee Russell married to Judy Lynn (Fluke), David Eugne Russell married to Terri Ann (Rae), Staci Ann Russell married to Jeffrey Stanton; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by son Barry Doyle Russell and his wife Tina.

Dorothy was a member of the Raven Run Church of the Brethren.

Shen loved her creative activities; she made beautiful elaborate quilts, crochet doilies and loved fishing, camping and hunting with a passion.  She loved her family, babies and puppies as well.

She enjoyed cooking for family get togethers and playing games.

Services will be held privately due to the recent COVID-19 recommendations and restrictions.

Burial will be held privately at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Saxton.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held and announced at a later date.
