Dorothy L. Felton

Dorothy L. Felton, 91 of Wilt Road, Breezewood, PA; passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at home; she was born on November 28, 1930; a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Clark) Foor; on September 1, 1951 in the Breezewood United Methodist Church she was united in marriage to Richard F. Felton; he preceded her in death on December 3, 1990.

She is survived by children Sara Jane Felton, Everett, PA and Mark D. Felton, Breezewood, PA; grandchildren Amy E. Guelich; Adam C. Felton married to Jenna (Clark) Felton and David F. Felton
married to Sarah (Eley) Felton; great-grandchildren Emily Guelich, Natalie Guelich, Wyatt Felton, Austin Felton, Brooks Felton, Cooper Felton, Grover Felton and Madeline Felton.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by siblings Alvin Foor, Grace McCahone, Paul Foor, Margaret Deremer, Gustie Foor, Lee Foor, Marl Foor, Robert Foor and Donald Foor.

Dorothy was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1948.  After graduation she went on to work for the state of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA doing clerical work until 1951. After that she worked with her husband Richard at Quality Inn Breeze Manor Motel, Breezewood, PA until his death.

She was a lifelong member of the Breezewood United Methodist Church where she also served as the church treasurer for many years.  She was also a member of the Bedford Springs Chapter No. 41 Order of the Eastern Star for over fifty years and served in capacities such as Worthy Matron and Deputy Grand Matron.

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 with Pastor Patrick Traxler
officiating; an Eastern Star Service will take place at 1:45 P.M. 

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
