David L. Strait

David L. Strait, 51, of Raystown Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at home.  He was born on January 01, 1970 in Roaring Spring, PA; a son of the late Connie L. (Strait) and Michael Windows.  On April 26, 1993 in Cumberland, MD; he was united in marriage to Tammy (Price) Strait.   

Along with his wife he is survived by children Megan Strait and fiancé Jordan Mowery; Tyler Strait, Trevor Strait and Madison Strait; two grandchildren Elsa and Jaxson Mowery. 

He was preceded in death by grandparents Thelma and James Strait. 

Dave owned and operated Dave’s Auto Repair for twenty-four years also offering a towing service for many years. 

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post No.08, Everett V.F.W. Post No. 2088 and Bloody Run Social Club.  Dave enjoyed riding motorcycle, shooting pool and hunting. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church with Pastor John Geyer officiating.
