David Edward Itinger, 85, son of the late Harry Frederick Itinger and Eleanor Jane Porter, passed away on January 6, 2021.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a truck driver for most of his life, retiring from Cerro Metals in Bellefonte, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Bonsell and a brother Richard Itinger. He is survived by his wife Trudy Bollman, daughters Wendy Hunter (Michael), Elizabeth Hrenko (Tony), Laurie Warner, granddaughters Barbara Hrenko (Matt Mann), Megan McAllister (Tommy), Rachel Itinger (Tyler Townsend), and great-granddaughter Analise McAllister; two sisters Arlene Page, Columbia, MD and Kathy Oliver, Warminster, PA. Also surviving is his step-daughter Lynn Heltzel (Jeff), grandsons Shane and Daniel Heltzel, Hunter Bollman and preceded in death stepson Steven Bollman.
Big Ed, as he was known, was an avid woodworker and gardener who enjoyed painting, rides in the mountains and camping. He was a private in the US Army, stationed at Fort Knox. No services are planned at this time.
