Daniel "Danny" L. Lynch

Daniel L. Lynch, 76, of Frankfort Highway, Ridgeley, WV; passed away on September 14, 2020 at home with his family by his side.  He was born on June 4, 1944 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Frederick N. and Janet F. (Hall) Lynch.  On March 24, 1963 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Suzanne “Suzie” (Mardorff) Lynch. 

Along with his wife he is survived by three children Sandra Stephens married to Carl, Martinsburg, WV; Theresa Green married to Darryl, Lemasters, PA; and Daniel Lynch married to Beth, Short Gap, WV; grandchildren Jobe Green married to Jessica, Danielle Spoonhour, Deanna Robeson married to Christian, Frederick Green, Daniel Green and Andrew Lynch; great grandchildren Jaxson Schooley, Kennady and Carter Robeson; Ace, Coen and Josephine Green; siblings Patty Smith married to Gary; Ed Lynch married to Carol and Terry Mearkle wife of the late Rick.

Danny was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1962.

He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Short Gap, WV.

Over the years he was an amateur radio operator, and a lifetime member of the Crystal Spring Camp Meeting.  In his younger years he was a motorcycle riding enthusiast.

Danny enjoyed woodworking, attending his coffee gang and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and annual apple butter making.

He was employed at Kelly Springfield for many years until its closing and was a truck driver for Conway Freight until his retirement.

A Private Funeral Service will be held.

Friends and Family will be received at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of departure to the cemetery at 3:00 P.M.  We ask that those in attendance would follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and following social distancing.

Burial will be held at Clearville Union Cemetery.
