Carol Marie Chamberlain, 53, of Everett, PA; passed away at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1967 in St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville, N.J; a daughter of James and Carolann (Egbert) Chamberlain of Everett.
Along with her parents she is survived by brothers James from Everett and Mathew from New Castle and Jason from Albrightsville; niece and nephews Mackenzie, Tom, Maverick; step nieces and nephews John, Brittney, Abigale and McKenzie; several cousins and best cousin buddy Barbara Jolly.
She was a graduate Hackettstown High School Hackettstown, N.J. in 1988. She attended Camp Warren in New Jersey for many years. She participated in Valley ADTC for four years and a three year participate of the Bedford County Special Olympics. Having won a gold medal each year in her Bowling Division.
Through the Adult Center she went on outings to various places, the Courthouse, different businesses and to Rep. Jesse Topper’s Office. She loved to camp, picnic and go to her grandparents’ home in Florida where she went sight-seeing and to Kennedy Space Center. She was a traveling girl and loved it, even doing a River Cruise. Her favorite song was “No Particular Place to Go” by Chuck Berry.
Well our little love had lots of places to go and family and friends who loved her. We thank all who taught her and was kind to her over the years. Bless you all for enriching her life. She was the best daughter anyone could have.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home.
