Betty Wilt Obituary

Betty E Wilt, 97, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.  She was a resident of Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, PA and formerly of Breezewood, PA.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Wilma M. (Winter) DeCooman.

Betty was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Breezewood and attended the Shepherdstown United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg.

She is survived by two brothers-in-law: Myron Wilt married to Jean, and Duane Wilt married to Marjorie and a sister-in-law Othetta Wilt, she is also survived by her godchild Rebecca Leader.

Betty had a special place in her heart for people who have helped her in many ways.  Some of those people are her niece, Pamela Wilt, her cousins Sandra Koonz and Joanne Tewell, and a good friend and neighbor Priscilla Gaffney.

She was dearly loved by many of her friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Beuford J. Wilt and her devoted cousin, Beverly Frengel.
