Barbara Ann (Weist) Pasierb

Barbara Ann Pasierb, 70, of Mountain Chapel Road, Breezewood, PA; passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at home after her battle with cancer.  She was born on September 16, 1950 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Ira Rei and Marjorie V.E. (Baker) Weist.  On May 17, 2003 in Pigeon Forge, TN; she was united in marriage to John Pasierb, he preceded her in death on December 15, 2003.

She is survived by two children Tammy Nycum and Shawn Nycum married to Cari; granddaughter Ella Nycum and a brother Terry Weist.

She was preceded in death by a brother Kermit Weist; sisters-in-law Karen Weist and Patty Petro; and a niece Brenda Weist.

Barb was a member of the First Christian Church, Everett, where she served on the Mission Festival Committee.

Barb worked at the Bedford Memorial Hospital in the X-ray department and later working at Wal-Mart until her retirement.

She enjoyed reading mysteries and western stories, spending time with her granddaughter, and trips to Pigeon Forge with family.

A Private Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Robertson officiating.

Entombment will be held at All Faith’s Chapel and Mausoleum, Windber, PA.
