William L. Brown

William L. Brown, 63, of Jacks Corner Road, Hopewell, PA; passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019.  He was born on June 20, 1956; a son of the late William R. and Frances L. (Fix) Brown.  On August 17, 1974 in Bedford Forge United Methodist Church, he was united in marriage to Debra A. (Lasher) Brown.

Along with his wife he is survived by children Travis L. Brown married to Annette (Churmblo), Noblesville, Indiana; Karlee L. Brown, Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren Landon P. Brown, Abigaile A. Brown, Sebastian E. Brown and Molly K. Brown; sister Bonnie married to Sam Perrin, Saxton, PA and brother Kenneth R. Brown married to Jody, Hopewell, PA.

He was preceded in death by a son Jeremy L. Brown and a brother Barry G. Brown.

Bill was a member of the Bedford Forge United Methodist Church.  He was a graduate of Northern Bedford County High School Class of 1974.

Mr. Brown was employed at New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company; he was an avid reader and enjoyed mowing his lawn.

Bill loved his dogs and spending time with his children, grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Snyder officiating.

Family and Friends will be received at the Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 4-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Burial will be held privately at Bedford Forge Cemetery.
