Robert G. Sichko

Robert G. Sichko, 48, of Saxton, Pennsylvania; passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.  He was born on May 29, 1970 in Spangler, PA; son of Gary Robert Sichko and partner Jackie Harris of Indiana, PA and Susan (Walsh) Bork married to Al of Northern Cambria, PA.  On September 11, 2010, Robert was united in marriage to Eva (Matea) Sichko at the Saxton United Methodist Church.

Along with his wife he is survived by his parents and the following children Taylor D., Celeste O., Lauren A. and  Gabriel T.; siblings Eric McMullen, Marie Dumm married to Peter, Paul McMullen married to Lynette; mother-in-law Virginia Kaufman, Saxton, PA; sister-in-law Becky Lee Matea; nieces and nephews Hunter Cassatt, Ryan Weakland, Jordon and Sarah McMullen, Gavin and Paige Dumm, and Abby McMullen.

Robert was affiliated with the Coalmont United Methodist Church.  He served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division and later the Nevada and Pennsylvania National Guard.  He worked as a corrections officer until his retirement.

 He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, cooking, motorcycles and his pets Nittany, Franko, Janis, Brownie, Simba, Kion, Pork Chop and Chucky.  He was an avid Pirates and Curve baseball fan.  Rob was a sharp shooter specialist and enjoyed building guns and shooting target.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and friends Mike and Skipper. 

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Coalmont United Methodist Church, Saxton, PA with Pastor Josh Beben officiating. 

Friends and Family will be received on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Coalmont United Methodist Church.
