John L. "Jack" Carbaugh Jr.

John L. “Jack” Carbaugh, Jr., 72, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Silver Mills Road, Artemas, Pennsylvania; passed away on June 1, 2018 in Julia Manor, Hagerstown, MD.  He was born on June 22, 1945 in Hagerstown, MD; a son of the late John L. Carbaugh, Sr. and Katherine (Snyder).   He is survived by sons John L. Carbaugh, III, Cumberland, MD and James Carbaugh, Hagerstown, MD; step-daughter Leslie married to Timothy Bailey, TN; brothers Harry Carbaugh married to Marie, Hagerstown, MD and Gary Carbaugh married to Deborah, Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren Sarah L. Carbaugh, Heather E. Carbaugh and Craig E. Carbaugh; great-grandchildren William, Samantha, Jacob and Olivia.

He was preceded in death by a life companion of thirty-five years Alverta G. Papa on October 30, 2016 and a sister Genevieve Karn.

Mr. Carbaugh was affiliated with the Fairview Christian Church.

He was employed as an Aircraft Mechanic for Fairchild Industry.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, PA with Pastor Milton Morris officiating.

Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Fairview Christian Church. 

Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Artemas, PA.
