Jeffrey E. Colledge

Jeffrey E. Colledge, 53, of Mountain Chapel Road, Everett; passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at home.  He was born on August 20, 1965 in Everett, PA; son of Deloris M. (Barkman) and the late Jack E. Colledge. 

Along with his mother he is survived by siblings Monte Colledge married to Tammy Jo (Sadowsky), Breezewood, PA, Debbie Colledge and life companion Terry “Chico” Dickinson, Everett, PA, LaDonna married to Steven Virts, Everett, PA; nieces and nephews Daniel Weist married to Ruthann, Christopher Virts married to Shelley (Imler), Ashley married to Andrew Dicken, Corey Colledge and significant other Diane; great-nieces and nephews Hannah, Dylan, Caitlin and Lily.

Along with his father Jeff was preceded in death by a nephew Matthew Virts.

Jeff was a member of the Rays Cove Christian Church and attended Breezewood Community Church.  He enjoyed attending a special-needs vocational school in Bedford, PA. and worked as a special farmers assistant on the family farm helping his mom and dad. 

He was always willing and wanted to help others, enjoyed participating in the local Special Olympics, going bowling and skating, and visiting local nursing homes with his brother to share music with others.  Jeff was a Dukes of Hazzard fan and loved music.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved to attend rodeos.  He loved animals and enjoyed caring for them. 

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor John Bennett officiating.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA  15537 and on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

Burial will be held at Rays Cove Christian Church Cemetery.
