Helen L. (Dalton) Gordon

Helen L. Gordon, 93, of Everett; passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Pennknoll Village.  She was born on October 10, 1924 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Lottie L. (Foor) Dalton.  She is survived by children Miles “Mick” T. Gordon, Bedford, PA; Vicki S. Bowman-Clauson, Hendersonville, NC; Jay R. Gordon, Burtonsville, MD and Andy Kachurick, Everett; who was like a son to Helen.  She is also survived by a grandson Tyson M. Bowman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was the last surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by five siblings Bruce K. Foor, Boyd F. Foor, Dorothy Uhland, Pauline Stewart and Mary Ellen Jones.

She was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1942.

Helen was a former member of the First United Church of Christ, Everett and a current member of the Bedford Senior Center.

She loved history, sending greeting cards and enjoyed watching birds and keeping up on the news and weather.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the Bedford Senior Center, 205 South Richard Street, Bedford, PA with Pastor Howard Sloan and Pastor Debi Decker officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Everett Cemetery.
