Gregory "Greg" L. Schreiber

Gregory “Greg” L. Schreiber, 61, of Clear Ridge Road, Clearville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home.  He was born on April 26, 1957 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Melvin Schreiber and Madolyn (Ritchey) Schreiber.  On October 16, 1987 he married Margaret (Peggy) Johnson.

Along with his wife of thirty years he is survived by step-children Alton D. Ford, Houstontown, PA and Tina Weaver, Steffer, FL; siblings Rick Schreiber married to Tammy, New Paris, PA, Brian Schreiber married to Elaine, Everett, PA, Byron Schreiber married to Terri, New Paris, PA, Brenda Heavner married to Keith, Flintstone, MD, Todd Schrieber married to Debbie, Crystal Springs, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings Melvin Lee, Michael Allen, Annette Sue Cornell, and nephew Brett Wade.

Greg was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Clearville, PA.  He was a mason and most recently worked for Harrison Masonry.  He also worked for Bill Mearkle Masonry for twenty-nine years.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening, flowers, collecting Oliver tractor models, his cats “Punkin” and “Tinker”, his dogs “Pebbles” and “Puddles”, and spending time with his family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clearville, PA with Robbie Roland officiating. 

Friends and Family will be received on Monday, July 2, 2018, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., Everett, PA and on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Zion Lutheran Church, Clearville, PA.

Burial will be held at the Everett Cemetery.
