Fredrick Risbon Obituary

Fredrick J. Risbon, 80, of Black Valley Road, Everett formerly of Sarasota, FL; passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford, PA. He was born on November 24, 1937 in Altoona, PA; a son of the late Jesse and Ardis (Helsel) Risbon; owners of the historic Cypher Beach Skating Rink. On June 10, 1961 in Altoona, PA; he was united in marriage to Pauline J. (Pittman) Risbon. Along with his wife of fifty-seven years, he is survived by a sister Carol Hoop and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Clair Risbon.

Fred was a graduate of Altoona High School. He worked as a mechanic for Eastern Airlines until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife.

At the request of Mr. Risbon there will be no services.
