Fred Brown Obituary

Fred Eugene Brown, 76, of Westover, PA; passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA. He was born on April 21, 1942 in Six Mile Run, PA; a son of the late James and Nellie (Bennett) Brown.

He is survived by his wife Gladys Brown of Everett; two daughters Marilyn Replogle married to Robert, Roaring Spring, PA and Carolyn McConaughey married to Michael, Riddlesburg, PA; brothers James Brown, Saxton and David “Butch” Brown, James Creek, PA; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two granddaughters Rachel Replogle and Karen Lemin, siblings Austin Smith, William Brown, Helen Smith, Betty Brown and Dorothy Fox.

Fred worked with his brother in the logging industry for several years. He enjoyed tinkering with cars.

A Private Graveside Service will be held by the family.
