Eleanor F. (McCune) Foor

Eleanor F. Foor, 75, of McCune Road, Clearville, PA; passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  She was born on October 26, 1943; a daughter of the late George E. and Marie L. (Clark) McCune.  On April 1, 1967 in Winchester, VA she married the late Thomas E. Foor, Sr., he preceded her in death on July 15, 2008.

She is survived by children Tammy S. Grimes married to Kent, Clearville, PA and Kitten L. Smith married to Jonas “Buck”, Clearville, PA; sister Donna Beers married to Bob, Carlisle, PA; grandchildren Rick Teeters, Jr., Ronnie L. Teeters, Rebekah Burns, Karen Grance, Joshua Smith, Mikal Grimes; great grandchildren Zachary Teeters, Jordan Teeters, Taylor Lucas, Jackson Lucas, Greyson Montoya-Smith, Evelyn Smith, Aubrey Crissmond, Adaline Burns, Jackson Smith, Lexi Grance and Allison Burns.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by son Jeffery Foor and a brother Gerald McCune.

Mrs. Foor worked as a seamstress at Lions Manufacturing until her retirement in 1976.

Eleanor was a member of the Bethel Christian Church and volunteered at Love In the Name of Christ. She spent countless hours maintaining her home.

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Hoffman and Pastor Todd Jay officiating.

Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
