David L. Beegle

David L. Beegle, 58, of Clearville, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at home with his wife by his bedside.

He was born on April 18, 1961, in Everett, a son of Geraldine (Price) Beegle-Stevey of Everett, and the late H. Lloyd Beegle.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Julia A. (Trail) Beegle.

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by children, Christopher Beegle, married to Jessica (Smith), of Clearville; and Whitney, married to Bradley Smith, of Clearville; siblings: Alan Beegle, married to Penny, of Clearville; Robert Beegle, married to Michelle, of Everett; Lynn Beegle, married to Lisa, of Everett; Lynette, married to Thomas O’Neal, of Clearville; Corrie Beegle, married to Lorie, of Clearville; and Jeanette, married to Charles Scott, of Everett; grandchildren: Cameron, Isaiah, Adriana and Parker Beegle; Colin, Braylen, Alexander and Madison Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was affiliated with the First Christian Church in Everett. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his hunting trips out west and loved to spend time with friends and family. He was a member of the Everett Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. No. 524 He was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1979. He was well known as owner of Beegle’s Logs and Lumber in Everett. He thoroughly loved his job as a logger.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Everett, with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating.

Friends and family may call at the Akers Funeral Home Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 on Wednesday, May 8, from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Burial will be held on the family farm.
