Dana "Lynn" O'Neal

Dana “Lynn” O’Neal, 71 of Church Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA; He was born on March 13, 1948 in Everett, PA; son of Shirley B. (Harclerode) O’Neal of Everett and the late R. Keith.  On September 5, 1970 in Everett, PA he was united in marriage to Beverly Ann (Burket) O’Neal and shared 49 years together.

He is loved and dearly missed by daughters Jennifer Carter-Vernon, British Columbia, married to Warren, and Amy Patton, Jim Thorpe, PA; five grandchildren that he adored: Emma Breanne Carter, Alyssa MacKenzie Carter, Connor Everett Patton, Kelsey Mae Patton, Lindsay Ann Patton and siblings Denise Ebersole and Erin Fehr.

Lynn was employed with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources until his retirement in 2009.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and woodworking.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 with Pastor David Grimes officiating
