Aaron L. Hobble

Aaron L. Hobble, 59, of Longs Run Road, Six Mile Run, PA; passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center.He was born on October 7, 1957 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; the son of Lee Zelanko of Broad Top, PA and Linda (Black) Hobble of Six Mile Run, PA. He was married in Round Knob Church of God to Joan L. (Reisinger) Hobble. Along with his loving wife he is survived by children Brooke Hobble, Six Mile Run, PA; Zachary Hurley, Belleville, PA; Gregory Hurley, Elliottsburg, PA; Jill Parrish married to Denny, Elliottsburg, PA; Charley Hurley, Landisburg, PA;  and  grandchildren Logan, Jayden, Landen, Maisie Parrish; siblings Shane Hobble married to Dawn; Trampas Hobble married to Michelle; Steve Zelanko and Tammy Musselman; Stepmother Libby Zelanko, Stepfather Joe Hobble and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aaron was a graduate of Southern Huntingdon High School and Pennsylvania State University.

He was initially employed by R.T. Markle Equipment then Carlisle Farm Service (C.F.S.) of which he became owner/operator in Carlisle and Chambersburg for several years.  Upon selling the business Aaron remained employed working for Hoober Inc. as a salesman.

He enjoyed camping with his family in Virginia, fishing and hunting especially during his trips to Michigan and out west.  Aaron had a love for work, family, and pets, especially Marley.  He enjoyed cooking and trips to the beach with his wife and family.  Aaron was a member of Round Knob Church of God, St. John’s F.&A.M. Masonic Lodge No. 260, Carlisle, PA and numerous other clubs and organizations throughout the years.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday May 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Round Knob Church of God with Pastor Jeff Musser officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Broad Top I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City.
