Paul F. Markle, Jr.

Paul F. Markle, Jr., 71, of Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.  He was born on April 18, 1952 in Pottstown, PA; a son of the late Paul F. Markle, Sr. and Janet Green. He was raised in the home of Dorothy & Richard King.

He was married to Shelby (Truax) Markle together they had two children Shonda Clark married to Chad and Derrin Markle married to Angie (Thomas), both of Breezewood; seven grandchildren Shayna, Dylan, Kyle, Rieder, Sierra, Lindsey and Curtis; six great grandchildren Serenity, Gracie, Zaelyn, Emberly, Maely and Henry; siblings Kathy Williams, Leroy Markle and Eugene Markle; sister and brother-in-law Sherry and John Hinish; two special nephews Derrick Hinish and Daylan Hinish, numerous other nieces and nephews and a caregiver Donna Belles.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter Shayla Jean Clark, special niece Shanda Hinish, father and mother-in-law Lee and Jean Truax.

Paul worked at R&N Tires for many years and later worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart.

He enjoyed volunteering at the Everett Little League as a board member and coach for many years as well as the Everett Flag Football program.

Paul was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan as well as Nascar fan routing on Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 5-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Chapel Church with Pastor Kenneth Hinish officiating.

Burial will be held at Mountain Chapel Cemetery.
