Vivian M. Ford, 92, of Entriken Road, Entriken, PA; passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, PA. She was born on November 6, 1924 in Eagle Foundry, PA; a daughter of the late Royer H. and Mae (Barnett) Edwards. On January 29, 1943 in the Reformed Church Parsonage, Marklesburg, PA; she was united in marriage to her husband of seventy-four years William H. Ford, Jr. Along with her husband she is survived by children Ronald W. Ford married to Leann, Goshen, KY; Gary A. Ford married to Virginia, Newburgh, NY; Edward D. Ford married to Peggy, McConnellstown, PA and Debra A. married to Steve Yingling, Lewistown, PA; three nieces raised in the home Cindy, Barbara and Ramona; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and sister Dorothy Curfman, Cassville, PA.
She was preceded in death by siblings Allen Edwards and Lillian Zook.
Vivian was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Entriken, where she taught Sunday school for many years and a former member of Eagle Foundry Methodist Church where she played the piano. She was a graduate of Robertsdale High School Class of 1941.
Vivian enjoyed flower gardening, canning, crocheting and cooking. She served as a volunteer for the Huntingdon Area Food Bank.
Family and friends may call at the St. Matthews United Church of Christ, Entriken Road, Entriken, PA, on Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, Entriken Road with Rev. Doug Satterlee, Rev. Glenn Sadler and Rev. James Patterson officiating. Burial will be held at Entriken Cemetery.
