Scott Paul Morgenweck, 61, of Nutmeg Road, Saxton, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on March 13, 1956 in Somers Point, New Jersey, a son of Janis (Kandle) Morgenweck , and the late Clarence "Sonny" Morgenweck. He was united in marriage to Victoria (Seymour) Morgenweck in 1994.
Along with his wife, mother and step-father, Ron Filmore, he is survived by step children Lauren (Grazier) married to Matt Hoover, Huntingdon, PA and Bryant Grazier, married to Nikki, Entriken, PA; beloved grandchildren, Kelcy Hoover, Elijah Hoover, Samuel Grazier, David Grazier and Lily Grazier.
He served in the United States Navy from 1975-1977. Scott worked as a Navy Cryptologic Technician.
Mr. Morgenweck was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the Philadelphia Eagles.
Friends may call at Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the chapel.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor William Hall officiating.
Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.
